You Might Be Surprised to Know

I studied in Spain for my Junior year of college (W&J alum) and used to be nearly fluent! I was extremely lucky and grateful to explore 8 different countries on 2 continents while I was there for a few months, and ever since I’ve have the urge to go back for more ( 👀 helloooooo destination wedding couples)!

Favorite part of the Wedding Day?

Professionally- First Looks or as soon as the couple is announced officially married! Those expressions are always the sweetest.

Personally- When the dance floor is officially open so I can simultaneously dance my way through the crowd while getting some candid dancing photos (although I might have my ear plugs in because it is really loud)

Favorite detail?

I love unique touches or personal details that incorporate something the couple shares in their day to day lives like a hobby or something they love (especially if you have a pet- they’re always fun to incorporate into the day)!

Go-to favorite romantic pose?

1000% The Nuzzle. If you know, you know.

Best candid prompt?

The *Fun* Walk. Not to be confused with the *Nice* walk.

Starbucks order?

Iced White Chocolate Mocha (all the caramel and sweet cream cold foam!) Yum!

Favorite thing to do?

Cuddled up on the couch with my 2 pitbulls or playing a competitive game of Mario Party on the switch with my husband, Adam. We’ve been married since 2022!

Advice for the couple?

Professionally- Build in buffers into the timeline so you can enjoy each moment of the day- you’ll be relaxed and enjoy portrait time if you aren’t feeling rushed!

As a Recent Bride- Fight for what is important to you and imperative to having your dream day, but for everything else just roll with the punches and live in the moment

Advice for the couple?

Professionally: Don’t worry about video being taken throughout the day. Focus on your partner and Katie will do the rest in guiding with photography prompts. Everyone seems more natural than they give themselves credit.

Being together for awhile you definitely know how to push each other’s buttons. Remember why you’d rather be stuck with them than anyone else. You can choose to see the best in each other and bring that out in one another.
