There arenβt many teams in the Pittsburgh area that specialize in wedding coverage in both photography and videography, but we do.
We love having the whole team on a wedding day since we work so well together, allowing us to move around one another in a way that is beneficial for both captures. We can move more efficiently without sacrificing quality or variety.
This saves you time on your timeline and feels more genuine giving you the more of that candid feel for your highlight film.
You know that the photo + video process is cohesive as well as your photos and video being hosted in one place, your gallery.
Youβll deal with me, Katie, every step of the way so no extra emails or people to consult or loop in to make any decisions.

We have found that we can typically manage one videographer for most wedding days. Of course it is always a bit simpler whenever you are getting ready on site together so they can jump between areas when needed without missing key moments.

The highlight film is a culmination of your wedding day coverage, taking the key moments and very best parts and piecing those together to give you a full feel of your wedding day. We capture professional audio that is inputted throughout along with 2 songs that will add to the overall feel of the film. The vibes and song type is a part of our questionnaire so it can be customized to your tastes.
The extra films are great if youβd love to be able to view your ceremony from start to end, hear the entirety of the speeches, or watch every first dance! We do use extra equipment for this coverage so youβll also have a bit more of variety in these films, which are delivered separately from your highlight film.

It can get confusing seeing all the terminology thrown about to describe photo and video in general, so this is what is important to note.
The coloring of the film is slightly enhanced but leaving it feeling still like your wedding day- not heavily altered that wasnβt what everyone witnessed in real life.
More fast paced but still romantic. Throughout the highlight film, we want you to get lost in the memories while also making sure it feels true to the day you experienced. Typically films start of slightly slower and more romantic while building to a faster pace that matches the bridal portrait time up through the dance floor moments.
Music plays a big role in the overall aesthetic of the film. I have you choose these options so I know some of your preferences and can match those within the background music.
Katie P, our professional editor, is highly talented and takes the clips of the day and makes the masterpieces of the final highlight films. She works in film editing full time and truly is gifted in bringing your wedding film to life.

The most frequent regret in past brides on forums is not hiring a professional videographer. Film picks up where photo leaves off, allowing you to hear the voices of your loved ones, truly see the expressions of surprise, love, joy, and movement. If you are even considering videography for a moment, I urge you to allow yourself to ask questions and determine if you do or do not want videography coverage to look back on in addition to your photos and portraits.
